In Melbourne airport we are picked up by Helen C, she is our guide when we stay in Australia, she is a kind woman and full of energy. She drop us in Victoria University Student Village in Williamson Road, Victoria. And explain us about livingin Melbourne.

The village is really good for student to stay at.There are many multiculture students, from europe, asia, africa and australia. The place is comfortable and there is large yard and gardens to study out , read a book or just talking with friends. The facilities of the villag are: a common room that can be used by all students in this village in the common room there are large television, table tenis and also bilyard. Also there is vollyball field beside the common room. There is a shared kitchen in every block.Food in Melbourne is very expensive, for a plate of fried rice you have to paid AUS$10, coffee 4$ and fastfood is about 4$. So when you live in Melbourne in limited fund, I recomended to cook yourself :D, you can shop fresh food ie: fish, vegetables, meat, fruits in Footscray Market, its cheaper than in the super market. Also if you want clothes or housewares you can buy in Savers, a shop that sells second clothes, shoes, books, and housewares, not too bad its an economical. I like books in Savers, there are alot of intersting books.
Transportation in Melbourne.
Usually people in Melbourne use train, trem and buses as public transportation, and also cars, motor cycles ( its rarely in here )and bicycle. To use a train ,trem and bus in Melbourne,we need a Myki card, its a reusable smartcard that is used by touch a card identificator in trem or bus once or touch the card identifications when come in and come out of the train station, you must purchase your myki prior to boarding. You can buy or top up at : store with myki sign, ticket offices or myki machines at all stations. Its good idea fo Public Transportation Division by using Myki card so all of the cost paid using Myki card, automatic in top up, in paid so its more efficient in using official in station on in trem or train. I am very surprised about this system, everyone walk fastly and running for the trem or the train, and they do anything in discipline.

In Melbourne city there are oldfashioned trem, when go around the city by this trem, its like in the age in beginning of Melbourne . Usually I go to Victoria University by trem number 82 and its end in Footscray Station and then go by train in direction from Weribee, Sanbury or Williamston. All the train stop in Flinder Station, the Victoria University is about 100 metres near Flinder St.
Melbourne Central
After school, sometimes i go to Central Melbourne, its a famous shoping centre with a Shot Tower, a high tower that build in the middle. Its a good place for shooping or just window shooping. :)
Melbourne Museum
In the East of Flinder St there is Museum of Melbourne, you can enter free. There are many pictures, fossil of a Huge whale and dynosauruses, many kinds of animals: mamalia, insect, aves etc. I like look at the skeleton oh a huge whale, dinosauruses, a film about making "canoe" a little Aborigin's ship from stem of wood and many things about Aborigin. There is a galery of painting in entry door.
